Even a hairdryerfor 3-4 minutes may create enough to flow the locktite to break it loose. Cutting or drill the head off as a last resort, you don't have a lot left to grab when the head is gone.

Insert the tab of each half into thedryer cordhole, so it is flat against the inside of thedryerpanel. Fit the two halves over thecordand reinstall the fitting'sscrews. Tighten thescrewsso thecordis held firmly, but make sure the fitting does not deform thecordor pinch the insulation.
